Team Philly logo

Never ran a long race before?
Want an inspirational and fun way to loose weight?
Looking to conquer a major challenge?

Take on the 10-Mile Broad Street Run May 6th
teamphilly2011
Don't run alone, train better together by joining Team Philly Race Training.  Team Philly Race Training is the premiere race training program in the Philadelphia area to prepare for the Blue Cross Broad Street Run (May 6th).  This community running program is affiliated/endorsed by the City of Philadelphia and run by local fitness and wellness businesses: Philadelphia Runner, and Fusion Cross-training with sponsorship from Excel Physical Therapy.

Head Coach Ross Martinson is a three time Top 5 Blue Cross Broad Street run finisher and a Boston Marathon crusher.  While Ross is an elite runner, this is a 10-week program geared for all levels/paces including 1st time runners!

The Spring program starts with a big Kickoff Workshop and first run Saturday Feb 25th.  No group runs are mandatory but we would like everyone to come out for as many Saturday long runs as possible to support each other.

Our Program Includes:
  • Complete Training Manual
  • Kickoff Workshop (program, technique, apparel, etc.)
  • Saturday Coached Long Runs  (various pace groups & mentors)
  • Weekly Short Run Meet-ups (Wed/Thur evenings)
  • Quality Dri-Fit "Team Philly" shirt
  • Weekly Emails w/ Running Program Details & Tips
  • Shoe/Apparel Discounts to Philadelphia Runner
  • Fusion Cross-training Free Trial and 20% Off
  • Free Sports Medicine Screenings with Excel Physical Therapy
  • and more...
*IMPORTANT: Registering for Team Philly does not include a bib or even guarantee registeration in the actual race this year so please register for Broad Street Run when it opens Feb 15th as the race tends to sell out quickly.

Team Philly will donate a portion of proceeds to Students Run Philly Style.
