Fall Food Inspirations

Life comes in seasons around here, thank God.  I couldn't have taken another 90 degree day.  With the cool air and rain, we have a whole new bounty of veggies and fruits to cook with and lots of great flavor combinations as always to keep food interesting.  Feel free to share yours on our Facebook page to give us all inspiration to eat well with veggies as our base.

Fall Spicy Dinner:
Chicken Veggie Chili over brown rice, Acorn Squash, Latin Broccoli Slaw and Cornbread with Spiced Apple Cider.

Football lunch:
Shredded Barbecue Chicken open face on whole grain with Baby Spinach, Cilantro and Tomato

Apple Picking Mid-day Snack:
It is apple picking time (Solebury Orchard) and if you got a sweet tooth, here is a great and easy way to get a healthy fix to keep you running through the day without the crash.  Sliced apples dipped in peanut or almond butter.
