Word of the Week: Equanimity

Equanimity means to be in balance, neither clinging to or averting any person, place, thing or idea.  It means taking the middle path between attachment and anger.  We are not always going to be in a state of equanimity but if we want more internal peace we need to be aware of our imbalance and try to return to it, so that we end up living most of our days in equanimity.
